Custom size Chastity Cage -  Stainless Steel - ExoSpine

This chastity cage is fully custom, bespoke device that is 3D printed in solid surgical-grade stainless steel.

Each piece receives extensive hand finishing and mirror polishing after coming out of the printer — a meticulous, labor-intensive process that transforms raw metal into a seamless, wearable sculpture. The result is a one-of-a-kind creation, built precisely to your anatomy and comfort.

The ExoSpine takes its name from its striking, ribbed exoskeletal design — inspired by the fusion of organic form and engineered precision. Every curve follows the natural lines of the body, locking you securely while allowing airflow, hygiene, and long-term wear.

This isn’t just a cage — it’s a statement of permanence and control.

The precision spine structure distributes pressure evenly, reducing hotspots and creating a uniquely ergonomic fit that moves with you, not against you.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MEASURE

✦ Optional Try-Before-You-Lock: Nylon 3D printed Fit Cage - PROTOTYPE

Want to make sure your custom cage fits perfectly?

Before we craft your device in solid stainless steel or titanium, you can choose to receive a nylon fit replica — an exact 3D-printed model of your future cage. This allows you to test the sizing, base ring, and overall comfort before final production.

This option is highly recommended, especially for first-time custom orders.

Fit prototypes are non-functional sizing tools made solely for measurement testing — they lack the final polish, aren’t meant for long-term wear, and help us perfect your final design.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

Measuring needs to be done several times during the day and then average out. Measure while you are flaccid.

Total Cage Length: Take a ruler and place it on the underside of your flaccid penis, measuring from tip to base. You should be completely flaccid when taking this measurement. For accurate results, take this measurement several times throughout the day, Remove 1/4 inch or 6mm from this measure.

The shaft inside diameter: Measure with a tapeline around the penis shaft - tighten just a little. Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter and add an extra 0.11 inch or 3mm

Base Ring Size: Take an inextensible cord, and tighten it around your penis and balls, so you can put only one finger beneath it. Take the length of this segment.
Alternatively, you can measure with a dressmaker's tape. Divide by 3.14 and get the diameter.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on fit, material, hygiene, and experience level. A well-fitted custom chastity device made from non-porous stainless steel can be suitable for extended wear, but long-term use should be approached gradually. Most people start with short sessions, check for pressure points, swelling, numbness, or skin irritation, and only increase wear time if everything stays comfortable and healthy. The ExoSpine Custom Chastity is designed specifically for serious long-term wearers. It is made from surgical-grade 316 stainless steel, which is body-safe, rust-free, and easy to clean. Its ribbed exoskeletal structure is also intended to distribute pressure more evenly and allow airflow, which can help reduce hotspots compared with a poorly sized cage. The key limitation is that even a premium custom device is only safe if the measurements are correct. If you are new to male chastity, a sizing prototype is the smarter starting point before committing to a permanent metal build. Anyone considering overnight or multi-day wear should build up slowly and stop immediately if there is pain, discoloration, or circulation problems.
Men wear chastity cages for different reasons, but the most common ones are control, submission, erotic denial, discipline, and relationship dynamics. For some, male chastity is about power exchange and accountability. For others, it creates stronger anticipation, helps structure self-control, or becomes part of a daily kink lifestyle rather than a one-time bedroom activity. A custom device like the ExoSpine appeals most to people who want chastity to feel intentional and sustainable. Because it is built to the wearer’s anatomy, it is better suited to comfort, security, and longer wear than many generic devices. The steel construction also gives it a more permanent, serious feel, which many experienced users value in consensual control dynamics. The tradeoff is that chastity is not just about locking up. It requires communication, body awareness, and realistic expectations. Beginners may enjoy the fantasy but discover that poor sizing or rushed wear times make the experience frustrating. People who benefit most are those who want a structured, physically secure device and who understand that fit and discipline matter just as much as the kink itself.
The main risks of male chastity cages are restricted circulation, pinching, chafing, swelling, skin irritation, hygiene problems, and nerve discomfort if the device does not fit correctly. These risks increase with cheap materials, poor finishing, incorrect ring size, or a cage length and diameter that do not match the wearer’s flaccid anatomy. A custom stainless steel device can reduce some of those risks because it is made to specific measurements rather than forcing the body into a standard size. The ExoSpine is 3D printed in surgical-grade 316 stainless steel and then hand-finished and mirror polished, which helps create a smoother, more hygienic surface. Its open spine design also supports airflow and easier cleaning access compared with more enclosed cages. That said, custom does not mean risk-free. Measuring errors can still lead to discomfort, and stainless steel has no flexibility if the fit is wrong. That is why a nylon sizing prototype is useful, especially for first-time custom buyers. Anyone wearing a chastity device should remove it if they experience numbness, coldness, bruising, unusual swelling, or persistent pain, and they should avoid treating discomfort as something to push through.
A metal chastity cage can trigger airport security scanners, so you should assume it may lead to additional screening. Stainless steel devices are more likely to be noticed than non-metal alternatives. There is no guarantee that a chastity cage will go unnoticed, and experiences can vary depending on the scanner, airport, and staff. For that reason, a solid stainless steel custom device like the ExoSpine is usually not the best choice for air travel if discretion is your top priority. It is designed for durability, permanence, and long-term wear, not for getting through security with minimal attention. Some travelers choose to remove a metal cage before flying to avoid delays or awkward conversations. If your main concern is lifestyle wear at home, in private, or in day-to-day settings where security screening is not involved, a stainless steel custom cage makes more sense. But if you travel often, it is smart to think about that use case before ordering. In general, anyone wearing intimate restraint gear in public should have a practical plan for removal if needed.
For many wearers, yes. A custom male chastity device is usually better when comfort, security, and long-term wear matter more than convenience. Standard-size cages can work for experimentation, but they often force users to compromise on cage length, inner diameter, or ring size. That is where pinching, slipping, pressure points, and poor lockup tend to happen. The ExoSpine is built entirely to the wearer’s measurements, including cage dimensions and base ring sizing. That makes it a stronger option for people who already know they want a more serious chastity setup or who have struggled with generic sizing. Its 3D printed steel construction also allows for a precise anatomical shape rather than a broad one-size-fits-most profile. The tradeoff is that custom requires accurate measuring and patience. It is made to order, cannot be treated like a casual impulse buy, and fit mistakes are the customer’s responsibility. A standard cage may be better for someone who is only curious and wants a low-commitment introduction. A custom device is better for users who want chastity to become part of regular play or a structured power dynamic.
A stainless steel chastity cage is a strong choice if you want durability, weight, security, and a non-porous material that is easy to sanitize. It tends to feel more substantial than plastic, resin, or silicone options, which many users prefer for dominance, denial, and long-term ownership dynamics. Stainless steel also holds up well over time and does not absorb odors or fluids the way porous materials can. The ExoSpine uses medical-grade 316 stainless steel, which is rust-free and body-safe when properly maintained. It is mirror polished after printing, which matters because smoother finishing helps reduce friction and improves cleanability. This type of build is especially appealing to experienced wearers or couples who want a lasting, precision-fit device rather than a temporary starter cage. The downside is that steel is rigid and unforgiving if sizing is off. It is also heavier than lightweight alternatives and less ideal for people who want maximum flexibility or travel convenience. If you are new to male chastity, a fit prototype is often the best way to test whether a rigid custom steel design suits your body and goals.
The three most important measurements are total cage length, shaft inner diameter, and base ring size. These determine whether the cage feels secure and wearable or uncomfortable and restrictive in the wrong way. If any one of them is off, the whole experience can suffer. For the ExoSpine, measurements should be taken while fully flaccid and repeated several times throughout the day, then averaged. Cage length is measured along the underside from tip to base, with about 1/4 inch or 6 mm subtracted. Shaft diameter is calculated from the shaft circumference, divided by 3.14, with about 0.11 inch or 3 mm added. Base ring size is measured around the penis and balls together, snug enough that only one finger fits beneath. These details matter because custom steel has very little margin for error. A ring that is too tight can create circulation issues, while one that is too loose can reduce security. Shoppers who are unsure or between sizes benefit most from the optional nylon fit replica, because it lets them test sizing before the final stainless steel piece is made.
It can be, but only for beginners who are serious about getting the fit right. The ExoSpine is not a casual starter toy. It is a bespoke stainless steel chastity device made for precision, security, and long-term wear potential. That makes it appealing to first-time buyers who already know they want a serious custom solution, but it also means there is less room for sizing mistakes than with softer or adjustable beginner options. What makes it more beginner-friendly than some rigid cages is the optional nylon fit prototype. That test version lets you check the sizing, ring feel, and overall shape before final metal production. For a first custom order, that is one of the smartest ways to reduce risk. A complete beginner who is still unsure whether they actually enjoy male chastity may prefer to experiment first with simpler devices. But a beginner who has already tried the concept, understands basic chastity safety, and wants a polished, body-specific upgrade may find the ExoSpine a very good fit. The main requirement is patience with measuring, testing, and easing into wear rather than rushing straight into extended lockup.
The biggest difference is precision. A 3D printed custom steel chastity cage is built around your exact measurements rather than being adapted from a small set of generic sizes. That usually means better alignment with your anatomy, improved comfort, and a more secure fit, especially for long-term wear. With the ExoSpine, the stainless steel body is 3D printed and then extensively hand-finished and mirror polished. That combination matters because 3D printing allows for a more sculpted, anatomical structure, while hand polishing helps remove roughness and creates a smoother contact surface. Its exoskeletal spine layout also gives a very different wearing experience from simple tube-style cages by promoting airflow and distributing pressure more evenly. Mass-produced cages can still be useful, especially for testing the category or shopping on a lower commitment level. But they often involve compromises in ring sizing, cage proportions, and finishing quality. A custom steel design is best for users who already know their priorities and want a device that feels more like a permanent personal restraint tool than a disposable accessory.
A stainless steel chastity cage should be cleaned regularly with mild soap, warm water, and thorough drying. For regular wear, the priorities are hygiene, skin checks, and keeping the polished surface free from residue buildup. Because stainless steel is non-porous, it is generally easier to sanitize than many softer or porous materials. The ExoSpine is made from medical-grade 316 stainless steel, which is rust-free and well suited to repeated cleaning. Its open design also helps with airflow and gives better access for washing than fully enclosed cages. That can make a real difference for users who want a device intended for disciplined, longer-term use rather than occasional scene-only wear. Maintenance still depends on the wearer’s body and routine. Even with a high-quality material, you should inspect for trapped moisture, friction areas, or skin irritation. Mirror-polished steel resists grime well, but comfort and hygiene are not automatic. If the cage feels harder to clean because of your anatomy, body hair, or daily activity level, more frequent removal and cleaning may be necessary. Consistent maintenance is part of safe chastity practice, not an optional extra.
